Weatherproof you house from draughts and air leaks around window panes and under doors
Ensure there’s adequate insulation in the ceiling
Set heater to efficient temperature e.g. 18-20 degrees
Put on a jumper, scarf, long underwear, even ugh boots rather than turning up the heat

Let clothes dry naturally on the clothesline rather than using tumble dryer
